The project, nestled in the heart of nature and surrounded by a forest, features a serene water pond that reflects the trees and the changing colors of the sky. The memorial serves as a place of pilgrimage for those seeking to reflect on the life and work of Ho Chi Minh's mother, who spent much of her life working in the lotus fields of the village of Hoàng Trù. The memorial invites visitors to contemplate and reflect, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling world outside.
The memorial's minimalist architectural language is inspired by Buddhist ideals of knowledge and wisdom, with the water pond serving as a mirror symbolizing these qualities. The memorial is both understated and powerful, offering a place of memory and contemplation.
