Multifunction High-Rise Building
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
The NEW SUN project in Ho Chi Minh City is a comprehensive development that encompasses 670 housing units and a five-level podium of commercial and social spaces, complete with terraces. The project also includes three levels of basement parking. The architectural design of the project features three towers of varying heights that create a dynamic silhouette. These towers are not arranged in parallel, which creates a fluid expansion of space between them. The various angles of the towers result in an interplay of light and reflections on the building's facades, allowing for a large number of apartments to have views of the Saigon River.
All of the housing units in the project feature balconies, which are accessible through open passageways. This double orientation provides efficient and hygienic natural ventilation. The project's public spaces, located on the ground floor, are a distinctive feature and offer generous areas for social and recreational activities. The architectural canyons between the towers create an energetic atmosphere, with the pedestrian ground floor providing a lively hub for social activity. The street level of the project is bustling, with galleries elegantly organizing access to duplex shops and apartment halls, all protected from the sun and rain.
