Son Tay, Vietnam

The National Historical Site of Ngo Quyen Temple and Mausoleum, Phung Hung Temple is located in Son Tay town, Hanoi city, a land of human spirits. This place has many traces associated with the two kings Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen and Vietnamese historical figures whose resistance against foreign invaders helped build the country. The victorious uprising of King Phung Hung and then the victory of King Ngo Quyen in Bac Dang in 938 ended more than 1000 years of Northern colonization, opening a period of independence and autonomy for the nation and King Ngo Quyen is considered the ancestor of the nation.
The relics of the Temple of the Two Kings along with the space of Duong Lam Ancient Village and many other national relics have affirmed the value and cultural heritage of Son Tay land, the cultural center of Doai through thousands of years of history. The Phung Hung Temple Relic, along with the Ngo Quyen Mausoleum & Temple, is planned to be upgraded from a «National Relic» to a «Special National Relic»

Elevating the Hai Vi Kings Temple heritage project to ensure it becomes not only a destination for domestic visitors but also an attractive site for international tourists visiting Vietnam. With great significance, the relics of King Phung Hung Temple, Temple
Mausoleum of King Ngo Quyen are in need of a master plan to preserve and promote the value to honor the kings who have meritorious services to the country, and at the same time show self-reliance and the morality of drinking water to remember the origin of the nation.
