The objective of the project is to offer a unique “destination” in Vietnam; a destination where the geographical, natural, climate and human heritage is more intensely revealed than anywhere else. At the borders of the country and next to China, also at a high altitude, the destination is reserved for travelers with financial means and/or time.
The realization of new roads will involve new practices. The agricultural economy in the "rice field" places will no longer resist the change towards more productive and intensive crops. Compared to Sapa, the economy of tourism did not yet destroy the identity of the territory, but it is still in close danger and the threat poses the question for the coming decades.
